What a great time to be a buyer! Over the past few weeks, we have had numerous requests to look into short sales and foreclosures. This tells me that people are beginning to look for the bottom of prices. So what kind of deals are out there? Well the deals are everywhere. It does not have to be a short sale or forclosure to get a good deal. If you are in the market for a home the best step to take is to get a Realtor working for you. The fact is that some of these homes are selling for less that half price! You and I will probably never see this kind of market again in our life time. Real Estate should be thought of as an investment for the long run…If you buy a house today at a steal price (which is very possible) you will be looking at a decent return on you money! The DiCarlo Group has been helping our customers make money in real estate for close to 30 years so if you have any questions about investing in real estate, give us a call! Happy Holidays!!

Your house has been on the market for months now, and you are determined not to give it away at a low price. When it comes down to it the price is what will move your house in this market. You have to remember that you may be selling you house for far less than you want, but when you go to purchase your new house, you will be paying that seller far less than they would what for their house. Of course we ideally would all want the whole “buy low, sell high” idea to work for us in this market but sometimes that is not the case. For those of you that are ”For Sale by Owner,” make sure to do your homework on what is available in you area. Don’t just stick a sign out front and wing it. Consumers are educated and are looking for good buys so don’t try to fool them. Our advice is to price aggressively and negotiate aggressively. Good luck! Please contact us with any questions.
